The CCL year-long first year program is open to current 9th and 10th grade students. Special consideration is given to current 11th graders.
Students applying to the CCL Program make a year-long commitment to the following components of the program:
- A three week summer trip to northern Wisconsin (June 13 - June 30, 2022)
- Weekly summer workshops and fieldtrips (July – August 2022)
- Conservation-based mentored stewardship project (July – April 2023)
- Monthly workshops, workdays, and fieldtrips (September 2022 – March 2023)

The Program tuition is $3,000. This includes tuition, room, board, transportation, and activities. Financial Aid is available, please see box below.
A non-refundable $200 deposit is required upon acceptance to the program.
Upon receipt of complete application, students will be contacted for a meeting. Students will be notified via email of their admission decision no later than April 15th, 2022.
Applications accepted until April 15, 2022. Preference is given to students who submit an application early.
Need-based financial assistance for full or partial tuition is available. Scholarships range from $500 - $2800. All students are required to pay a $200 deposit. To request financial assistance, interested applicants should include the following information with their application:
