Connect with the Land at Restoration Workdays

Photo by Karin Olsen Campia.Did you know that you can organize a group of your friends or co-workers to volunteer with our land management staff in one of Open Lands' preserves? This is a great opportunity to work together as a group to help the environment, learn something new about native plants and animals, and have a lot of fun. To arrange a volunteer restoration session for your class or organization, e-mail Michael Hahn, Restoration Ecologist & Volunteer Coordinator.

If you'd rather not organize your own work-party, you can attend one of our scheduled volunteer workdays, usually held on the first Saturday of each month. Either way, you'll learn a lot, get a good workout, and have a chance to become more familiar with some of our natural areas.
