The Cattails & Cattails fundraiser hosted by the Associate Board of Lake Forest Open Lands will be hosting two different events to support our mission. Tickets for each event are limited. We hope you will support LFOLA and participate in this year’s physically distanced but still socially connected options below.

Evening on the Prairie Meadow Ticket


Please join us for an evening under the stars with dinner, music and merriment on the prairie…and margaritas, don’t forget the margaritas! LFOLA presents Cattails & Cocktails, a two-night event for dinner on the prairie, Friday May 21st or Saturday, May 22nd from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm at Mellody Farm Nature Preserve. Your ticket provides you and nine of your nearest and dearest family and friends with a private tent to mingle and enjoy the beautiful natural landscapes while enjoying dinner and margaritas provided by The Other Door. Your evening includes a scheduled group trip to our unique Scotch tasting table.

Enjoy an evening at home and support LFOLA at the same time. Includes a choice of three tacos, chips and salsa and a signature margarita (or other beverage) from The Otherdoor on the night of your choosing between Thursday, May 20th through Sunday, May 23rd. Ticket also includes a chance to win LFOLA swag!


PLEASE NOTE: No refunds given for all purchased tickets. The in-person event will take place rain or shine.

Interested bird watchers of all ability levels are invited to join us on these special early morning walks.

Bring your binoculars! Limit 8 bird watchers per week. Registration is required.
